LGT Bank Partners With SEBA Bank to Offer Digital Asset Services to Clients

LGT Bank has announced partnership with SEBA Bank to focus on private banking and asset management, to provide digital asset custody and brokerage services.
LGT Bank Partners with Swiss SEBA Bank
SEBA Bank, a FINMA-licensed digital asset banking platform, said today that it has merged with LGT Bank, an international financial services provider specializing in private banking and asset management, to provide digital asset custody and brokerage services.
LGT Bank will initially offer Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) investing services (ETH). Clients will be able to smoothly include crypto into their existing portfolios because digital asset investment services will be completely linked with traditional assets.
“We are very pleased that we can now offer our client easy access to these asset class. When developing our new offering, we paid particular attention to security while focusing on clear, reliable processes and procedures.” Roland Matt, CEO of LGT Bank said.
LGT Bank’s CEO proclaimed an observation that the demand for cryptocurrencies have increased among their clients over the years. Affirming that the bank is central for dealing with this dynamic and still quite young asset class that is digital assets, the partnership with SEBA Bank enables that their clients’ digital assets are held in the custody of a professional and certified provider with extensive experience in this area.
SEBA Bank as a licensed and FINMA regulated Swiss bank with a core competence in cryptocurrencies and digital assets, they enable banks and their clients to handle traditional and digital assets securely.
SEBA Bank offers a variety of investment services, including cryptocurrency trading, a comprehensive crypto yield offering called SEBA Earn, and the SEBA Gold Token, an innovative digital token backed by physical Swiss gold. LGT and its clients is said to benefit from their highest security requirements in the protection of their digital assets and private keys thanks to SEBA Bank’s ISAE 3402 certified hot and cold storage custody solutions.

LGT Bank’s digital asset investing options will be provided to a small subset of LGT Bank’s Liechtenstein clients at first. To access services, clients must be based in Liechtenstein or Switzerland, be classified as professional clients, or be managed by an external asset manager.
