The English company Wuabit is developing a cryptocurrency wallet , accessible through the interface of the popular messenger WhatsApp.
Wuabit describes the solution as a “software agent” managed by specialized artificial intelligence. Users will manage cryptocurrency transactions in chat mode with a bot using simple commands, for example, “send 0.05 BTC to Vera”.
A Wuabit spokesperson told Express.co.uk that the first phase of product development is almost complete:
“We are close to completing the main service of the wallet, which will start with BTC.”
The public beta of the Wuabit cryptograph should appear in April. The key factors that may contribute to its dissemination should be convenience and ease of use, the source added.
“Crypto payments through WhatsApp can attract more new users who know how to communicate in this difficult space ,” he stressed.
In the future, the blockchain-company expects to implement its service on other platforms, including Messenger, Telegram and Viber, and expand the list of supported cryptocurrencies .
