Weiss Ratings have just released their annual cryptocurrency report. And it seems that they give the green light to curious investors. Company founder Martin D. Weiss foresees a future in which digital assets will dominate. However, Weiss also says that cryptocurrency space is the most risky place to invest.

It is worth noting that Weiss ratings do not give any A + rating a single coin, but the company still sees great potential in several top cryptocurrencies.

Weiss also claims that it is time to buy coins:

Despite lower prices since the beginning of 2018, our rating model provides us with convincing evidence that the critical segment of the cryptocurrency industry has seen a significant increase in user transaction volume, bandwidth and network security. Equally important is our conclusion that these improvements are often based on the evolution of the underlying technology. Therefore, for those who are willing to take risks, the best time to invest is very close.

When considering what estimates to give each coin, Weiss appreciates adoption. With user bases that outnumber the competitors – XRP, EOS and Bitcoin received ratings "A", Ethereum – "A-", and Cardano, Steem, NEO, Zcash, Litecoin and Stellar – "B +".

Weiss says XRP could penetrate the global financial industry. The “A” rating is accompanied by XRP approval as a replacement for SWIFT, the current industry standard for international bank transfers.

EOS has also been recognized by Weiss as a cryptocurrency currency with increasing potential for use According to Weiss, EOS is the industry leader in increasing real-world applications. Overall, Weiss Ratings notes that the volume and daily transactions have increased because people are starting to use DApps.

Estimates are also noticeably higher than last year, this is due to the fact that the risk is actually less due to increased security and constantly emerging use cases.

And what do you think about this?
