The creator of the Ethereum blockchain, Vitaly Buterin, disclosed information about his cryptocurrency assets . According to Buterin on Reddit, in his cryptocurrency portfolio are:
- Tokens outside the ethereum ecosystem: BTC , BCH , DOGE , ZEC (total cost less than 10% of the value of my ETH);
- Ethereal Ecosystem Tokens: KNC, MKR, OMG, REP (total cost less than 10% of the value of my ETH);
- A significant part of the corporate stake: Clearmatics, Starkware;
- Income over the past 12 months (except for the salary from the Ethereum Foundation): several tokens for the services of a consultant (included above);
- Non-financial interests: friends in the ecosystems represented by the above projects. Some organizations not related to ethereum tokens (L4, Plasma Group, EthGlobal, EDCON) and organizations outside the ethereum ecosystem (mainly professional cryptography and economist communities).
According to Vitalik, the total value of the above assets is less than 10% of the value of the air stored by him.
In addition, Vitalik owns a “significant share of capital” of Clearmatics, a blockchain-startup that is engaged in the creation of “decentralized clearing networks” that automate the work of financial derivatives. He is also an investor in Israeli startup Starkware, working on blockchain solutions focused on confidentiality and scaling.
As for non-profit organizations, Acne participates in L4, Plasma Group, EthGlobal and EDCON, as well as in other projects related to economics and cryptography.
