In Europe, they can sign a blockchain development agreement
More than 20 European countries are ready to sign an agreement on the joint development of blockchain technology. This statement was made at the past in Moscow forum "Blockchain in the digital economy" by the official representative for the development of digital innovation and the blockchain technology of the main department for communication networks, content and technology of the European Commission Benoit Abelou.
“To give the blockchain a clear legal basis, we are currently working on new documents. We also have a blockchain partnership in Europe, which includes 26 member states that are now ready to sign an agreement between the countries and the European Commission to jointly develop technology and provide specific cross-border services for developing the necessary infrastructure, ”the official said.
According to Abel, the blockchain is “a good tool for international trade.”
“The European Parliament is currently working on a report in this area, and the international trade organization is also involved in this process,” he added.
