The network turned out to be data of almost 9 million Beeline users

The database of 8.7 million Beeline operator customers who connected home Internet was in the public domain. It contains names, addresses and phone numbers, Kommersant reports.

Beeline assures that most of the data in the database is outdated:

“This information is a small part of the 2017 base. We recorded a leak two years ago. All the perpetrators were identified and punished. ”

According to the publication, the information is relevant. Media representatives found their own data, including both information about existing Beeline customers, as well as former ones.

According to experts, fraudsters can use the information obtained to steal funds through social engineering and comparison with other databases.

Recall that last week the data leaked to the network 60 million customers of Sberbank.
