The world's largest cryptocurrency exchange Binance plans to start trading in cryptocurrency futures, according to CryptoBtcMining.com .
Founder and CEO of Binance Cryptobirge Changpeng Zhao presented the exchange interface for trading in crypto futures at the Asian blockchain summit in Taipei.
“Binance will launch a futures platform very soon. I don't have an exact date yet. A test version of the simulation will be available in a few weeks , ”Zhao said.
He showed a screenshot of the interface and noted that the system is, in fact, already working.
“So the futures for Binance are already on the way ,” said the head of the exchange.
Changpen Zhao said that initially the platform will support bitcoin futures contracts with a settlement in USDT and a leverage of 1:20. In the future, it is planned to expand the supply of futures and increase the size of the margin trading loan.
Although the head of the exchange did not give an exact date for the launch of the futures platform, a Binance spokesman told the online publication that they planned to launch testing in two weeks.
Recall that earlier Binance launched a new version of its main trading platform and opened access to margin trading on it. In addition, in the near future Binance plans to release its own steylcoin .
