The creators of WinPay offered a tool to pay for Bitcoin purchases

Petr Koziakov, Alexander Vasilyev and Grigory Vaisman announced the launch of a new cryptographic payment service Mercuryo. According to them, it will allow paying for any purchases in the crypt and making an immediate exchange of the main cryptocurrencies in dollars, euros and rubles.

It is still impossible to pay with Bitcoin purchases in Russia. This problem was solved by Petr Koziakov, Alexander Vasiliev and Grigory Vaisman. On February 4, 2019, they announced the launch of a new cryptographic payment service, Mercuryo. Its development began a year ago and now the application works through a desktop computer on the Mercuryo.io website and is available for download on PlayMarket and the AppStore.

According to Grigory Vaisman, the service will become a convenient tool for quickly converting BTC and ETH to rubles, dollars, euros and back:

“Our main task was to make a super tech product. We have attracted many outstanding experts: software developers “Qiwi”, “Alfa-Bank”, Gazprombank, “TsIAN” and other technology companies. Because of this, we, as a Swiss knife, our team is completely autonomous and is able to independently solve problems of any complexity. I am pleased to lead such a team. My joy is shared by users, and we already have several thousand of them, ” said Grigrius Weisman.

Since the announcement of the start of open beta testing on January 1, 2019, more than two thousand people have already become clients of the Mercuryo payment system. Among them are not only cryptocurrency holders, but also business representatives who use the Mercuryo acquiring service.

Technically, we are talking about the conversion of the ruble into a digital asset, the exchange of an asset for a product and the reverse conversion into a ruble. But the buyer does not want to think about it – he wants to choose the goods in the store and pay with Bitcoins or ethers from the wallet or even from the card.

Experts believe that the time has not yet come for the full implementation of online acquiring cryptocurrency. It is clear that just like on the card, you will not issue a cryptocurrency payment. For this there are special services. Speaking quite simply, the store registers the wallet, and the user transfers funds to it.

In the "Mercuryo" went the other way. The company currently receives a European payment license to become a full legal payment service. The future plans were told by the Mercuryo Development Director Peter Koziakov:

“We want to make it so that anyone can pay, say, a restaurant bill from their crypto wallet. For this, a mechanism has already been developed for converting BTC into a fiat currency nga virtual card, from which the service is paid through international payment systems. Thus, the user can pay for it by simply attaching his smartphone with the function of contactless payment to the terminal. Later we plan to issue our own cards, so it will be possible to pay BTC and ETH directly from the Mercuryo card , ”said Peter Koziakov.

Over the next few months, Mercuryo management plans to make a series of high-profile announcements of new major partnerships. This was told by the Commercial Director of the company Alexander Vasilyev:

“Our idea has already attracted a lot of attention from business, and we want to move in our development in this direction. We literally every day negotiate with major suppliers of various kinds of services. I can say that in the spring we are all waiting for amazing news. We will not only make a global leap ourselves, but also a market that will encourage rapid development, ” said Alexander Vasilyev.

In February 2019, the Mercuryo service will be available worldwide. Already, any person in Russia and the CIS can use the services of the exchanger and the wallet. Until the end of February, the application will be available for download in the AppStore. The company assured that they will inform about this in advance. On the sidelines of the Russian crypto space, rumors about a large-scale partnership “Mercuryo” with some very well-known service persist, which will be confirmed in the spring of this year.
