Telegram's TON blockchain platform will be compatible with the Ethereum

network

The developers of the Telegram messenger endowed the TON (Telegram Open Network) blockchain platform with the Ethereum network compatibility function (ETH).

As the CryptoBTCmining.com portal clarifies with reference to TON Labs CEO Alexander Filatov, any decentralized application (DApps) developed on the Ethereum blockchain can be moved to the Telegram Open Network platform.

Recall, earlier there was information that already today, on September 1, regular testing of the network starts, the messenger developers worked on its launch.

One of the key participants in the project is the startup TON Labs, associated with the team of Pavel Durov. Its specialists intend to release a set of tools for developers, including a service through which it will be possible to transfer applications from the Ethereum blockchain to TON.

Filatov emphasized that the team managed to fulfill one of the most difficult tasks, and now the Ethereum community can interact with a qualitatively new ecosystem.

Developers have been testing the compatibility service since July, the general director of TON Labs added.

Note that the Telegram team raised $ 1.7 billion last year. She uses these funds to launch a blockchain network, and if the project fails, the developers will be required to return the money to investors.
