The development team of one of the most anticipated cryptocurrency projects in the fall of 2019 is entering the final stage of test trials of the Telegram Open Network (TON) blockchain network.
On Friday, September 6, five days late, a code was published on the TON test network portal to launch a blockchain network node, CoinDesk reports.

Initially, open testing of the TON network node was scheduled for September 1, however, while maintaining the traditions of the project, Telegram fulfilled its promise belatedly. However, now developers and community members interested in the TON blockchain will be able to start working with the full node, validator node and blockchain explorer. The reasons for the postponement are not explained.
TON Labs Technical Director Dmitry Goroshevsky, who leads the development of tools for developers, said that the test network supports 100 nodes using Telegram itself. Several nodes are being tested by a subsidiary startup Telegram, controlled by investors who invested $ 1.7 billion in the project in 2018.
“The source code for the full node, which will allow access to testnet, create and verify blocks, has already been released. Lite client was released a few months ago. TON Labs will release a public beta of its developer toolkit on Monday, ” Goroshevsky said.
According to obligations to investors, the main Telegram Open Network should be put into operation no later than October 31. The TON blockchain is compatible with Ethereum network software .
