Team Waves introduced a browser extension to securely sign transactions

The developers of the Waves blockchain platform have announced the release of Waves Keeper, a browser extension that allows them to securely sign transactions without having to enter a private key or password.
Thus, it is said in the message of the project that if any website integrated with Waves or a decentralized application requires a transaction to be signed, thanks to Waves Keeper this can be done with a few clicks directly in the browser.

It is noted that account information is encrypted and stored locally on the user's computer. This information is not available outside the extension and cannot be stolen. You can also add several wallets to the extension and easily switch between them. If the user has forgotten the password for the account, you can restore it using a key phrase.
As the developers say, this extension will be especially useful for developers who want to include Waves functionality in their projects, since they support the Auth and Payment API. For experimental purposes, the extension can be switched between the main and test networks.
This version of the extension is the first and currently works only in Google Chrome. In the future, the developers promise to add support for other popular browsers.
At this stage, the product is available for testing only through a direct link on the Waves forum , its inclusion in the Chrome Web Store is expected a little later.
Recall that in late September, after the support of the new functional by miners in the Waves core network , the first phase of smart contracts was activated .
