On March 5, the main Swiss stock exchange, SIX Swiss Exchange, announced the start of trading with the exchange-traded product (ETP) based on the Ethereum cryptocurrency.
Amun Ethereum ETP will trade under the AETH ticker. The annual management fee for the tool will be 2.5%.
Note that ETP, in contrast to the ETF, is not subject to the Collective Investment Act (CISA) and is not controlled by the Swiss Financial Market Supervision Authority (FINMA).
Recall that in late November 2018, SIX Swiss Exchange launched Bitcoin-based ETP Amun Crypto (HODL), XRP, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash ABC and Litecoin. The product became the leader in trading volume in less than a week.
Earlier in February, the stock exchange began testing the blockchain technology for the upcoming SDX platform.
