In a new study published by Grayscale Investments in collaboration with Q8 Research, 36% of 1,100 American investors plan to invest in bitcoins .
According to the company's estimates, this sample represents more than 21 million investors, provided that the total number in the United States is 63 million.
According to Grayscale, the survey is almost the first publicly available data about retail investors and their perception of Bitcoin.

Key research figures:
- 79% fluctuate in terms of Bitcoin growth;
- 75% appreciated the shortage of Bitcoin and the prospect of competing for limited assets;
- 42% of investors interested in Bitcoin are Republicans;
- 37% of those interested in Bitcoin are Democrats;
- 57% of those interested in BTC are men;
- 43% of investors interested in BTC are women;
- 75% of all investors believe that digital crime is the number one fear associated with Bitcoin;
- 68% of investors interested in BTC also believe that digital crime is the number one threat.
