CarPrice, an international online car sales service and a leading developer of online car auctions in Russia, translates employee motivation into blockchain. About this BlockchainJournal reported representatives of CarPrice.

The project, implemented jointly with the company Bitlle Network, consists of two stages. The first is the transfer of the loyalty program for staff to the blockchain.

For professional achievements, CarPrice employees will receive points, which in the future they can spend in the internal online store, or donate to colleagues. All transactions are recorded in the Ethereum blockchain.

In the framework of the second stage, it is planned to transfer loyalty programs targeted at buyers and sellers of cars to the blockchain.

“For loyalty programs, the blockchain is extremely convenient, since it significantly expands the area of using bonus points. At the same time, there is no need for expensive technical integration with other partners, since it is already incorporated in the blockchain technology at a basic level, ”said Denis Dolmatov, General Director of CarPrice.

In the future, the company plans to use distributed registry technology for a wide range of operations.

“It is obvious that soon the blockchain will allow us to connect various services in a variety of combinations into a single ecosystem, which coincides with our vision of the auto business of the near future. Therefore, we are ready to transfer a significant amount of CarPrice operations to the blockchain and have already identified promising areas together with a partner, ”said Oleg Zankov, head of CarPrice-Technology.

Recall, according to a survey by the IBM Institute for Business Value and Oxford Economics, 64% of respondents are confident that by 2021, the blockchain and distributed computer systems will play a dominant role in the automotive industry.

In addition, last year BIS Research published a study stating that the market for automotive blockchain solutions will grow to $ 1.6 billion by 2026.
