The British crypto project Revolut announced a strategic partnership with Visa payment system – cooperation will allow the company to open access to its services to residents of 24 new countries.
According to a press release, the partnership will total 56 new markets around the world. It is known that Revolut will introduce Visa cards to its customers, the payment system will allow the crypto application to offer its services initially in Australia, Brazil, Canada, New Zealand, Russia, Singapore, Japan, the United States. After that, Revolut will gain access to Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Ukraine, Vietnam, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Taiwan, the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, North Africa.
In an interview with Reuters on September 30, Nikolai Ptorsky, Revoult CEO, noted that as part of the new deal, the company’s team will be replenished with 3,500 new employees, in general, 5,000 people are now involved in the development of the project. The release of the application for the United States and Singapore is expected at the end of this year, after which access will be open to Canada and Japan. So far, however, it is unnatural when the launch of the application for Latin America and Asia will take place.
