Research: Twitter users' attitude to cryptocurrency in different countries of the world

New Libra cryptocurrency from Facebook is actively interested in Twitter users from the USA, UK, France and Australia. At the same time, 54.8% of all posts have a negative connotation. These results were achieved by the experts of The TIE analytical platform, having conducted a global study of cryptocurrency tweets.

Least of all are located in relation to altcoinu users from the United States and France, where Libra was criticized by local financial regulators.

The study also showed that 38.9% of all bitcoin tweets belong to American users, although at the moment in the country they write more about Libra (43.8%). At the same time, in the world, the first cryptocurrency is much better – 59.8% of posts are positive.

The most positive for Bitcoin are in Peru, Malaysia and Indonesia, the worst of all – in Mexico, Estonia, Brazil, Ireland and Venezuela.

Recall, Facebook announced its own Libra cryptocurrency and Calibra wallet on June 18. In the administration of the Trump Libra called the "good thing", but on July 16, the Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs of the US Senate will hold a hearing on Libra, and on July 17 a hearing on the same issue is scheduled in the US House of Representatives Committee on Financial services.
