Opera browser added Bitcoin and Tron support to the built-in cryptocurrency wallet

The developers of the Opera browser have announced the release of a new version of their software for Android devices, with which users can send and receive assets in Bitcoin (BTC) and TRON cryptocurrencies (TRX and TRC10 tokens).
Until recently, the cryptocurrency wallet built into the Opera browser supported only Ethereum and ERC tokens .
“Now we are making our software more diversified by adding Bitcoin and TRON to it ,” the company writes, noting that this step should be viewed as a development of its initiative to connect mass users to Web 3 services.
In addition to carrying out transactions, users of Opera beta for Android can view the history of their operations. They also have the opportunity to make transactions using Bitcoin on web pages, thanks to the "experimental integration of Web 3", which, according to the developers, should allow Bitcoin to pay in the network.
A crypto wallet and a Web3 browser appeared in Opera for Android in December 2018. In April 2019, similar functionality was implemented in the desktop version of the software, and in June – in Opera Touch on iOS .
To use the new features, users need to download Opera beta from Google Play. Crypto Wallet is available for devices based on Android 6.0 and higher.
