American cryptocurrency company Coinbase has reduced staff. The company will be abandoned by some representatives of the customer support service, the department of legal compliance and the fraud detection department, reports Yahoo Finance.
For example, Coinbase confirmed the information, but refused to give the exact number of dismissed [according to sources of the publication – 15 people]. Nevertheless, it is known that most of them worked remotely. Now the company intends to hire employees exclusively for office work, since, in the opinion of management, this will increase the efficiency of the work of these departments.
Coinbase added that the average user waits for a response by e-mail to be four hours, and 90% of requests are successfully closed within 48 hours.
Earlier, CNBC presenter Ran Neuner said that Coinbase intends to enter the IPO.
