The manufacturer of popular hardware wallets for storing Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies Ledger announced the release of mobile applications for iOS and Android devices.

The message of the French company says that using the Ledger Live application, users of Ledger Nano S and Ledger Blue had the opportunity to view their balance sheets by scanning the QR code available in the desktop version of the product.
Currently, the application is in consultation mode, but it allows transactions to be performed wirelessly (via Bluetooth) using a Ledger Nano X device. In the future, Ledger Nano S users will also be able to carry out transactions via an OTG cable, although this feature, as noted, will only be available for Android smartphones.
It is also planned to expand these functions to the desktop application.
Ledger Live mobile apps are compatible with devices on iOS 9+ or Android Lollipop (5) and higher.
Recall release Ledger Nano X – an improved version of the Ledger Nano S with Bluetooth support took place earlier this month .
