The main manufacturer of hardware for cryptocurrencies Ledger intends to organize support for atomic swaps, which are based on the SWIFT protocol, in its Ledger Live application.

According to a press release, wallets with SWIFT integration will allow users to swap cryptocurrencies without having to exit the application or worry about addresses. So far, however, it is not known exactly when the new function will appear. SWFT Blockchain CEO said that in the future the demand for such functionality will increase even more. He explained that as the crypto market moves from speculation to real use, the need for an exchange between assets will increase. The company believes that partnership with SWFT Blockchain will meet the needs of modern users.

In addition, Ledger announced that SWFT will use the Ledger Vault service. Thanks to this integration, assets under the control of the SWFT Blockchain will be protected both during storage and during operations with them. This will create a secure liquidity platform for SWFT Blockchain and its users.
