The Israeli retailer GMT, specializing in remittances, uses a Ripple blockchain solution. This is stated in a press release.
At the same time, Ripple appointed the GMT as its official representative in Israel. Note that GMT has not yet clarified which startup product it intends to use – xCurrent or xRapid.
“This partnership strengthens the leading position of GMT in the Israeli fintech industry, and also allows us to work side by side with leading global companies, ” says the message GMT.
Representatives of the company are confident that, thanks to cooperation with the Californian startup, GMT will take part in "creating a global financial system using advanced technologies."
Previously, Ripple partners were the UAE Exchange payment company based in the United Arab Emirates and a division of the South Korean stock exchange Coinone .
