Is the US National Security Agency creating a quantum-proof cryptocurrency?

Yesterday, two popular English-language online publications about the cryptocurrency CryptoBTCmining.com and Coindesk , circulated the "news" that "the NSA is developing a quantum-resistant cryptocurrency."
Referring to a twom from a Bloomberg reporter, William Turton, who commented on the NSA's director of cybersecurity, Ann Neuberger, at the 10th annual cybersecurity summit in Washington. Coindesk and CryptoBTCmining wrote that she allegedly stated that her agency was developing a “quantum-resistant cryptocurrency.”
But here is a tweet from Turton:
“Anne Neuberger, director of cybersecurity of the NSA, says the agency will again offer its standards for hardware and software. She also noted that the agency is working on a quantum-proof crypto. ”

Given the context of the tweet, as well as the powers of the NSA, which are unlikely to include the development of the cryptocurrency market, it was a matter of quantum-resistant cryptography, not cryptocurrencies .
After some time, Coindesk reporters edited the article, indicating in it that it was about cryptography, and not about a specific cryptocurrency.
