In Ukraine, a cracker of cryptocars faces two years in prison

Ukrainian cyber police arrested a 22-year-old resident of Zaporizhzhya region, who spread a virus on the network in order to steal personal information, including data on crypto-currency wallets. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry.

For anonymous distribution of malware, an attacker rented virtual servers. During the search, the cyber police found computers and hard drives on which viruses were installed. Hacker faces up to two years in prison.

Earlier, BlockchainJournal reported that Ukrainian students were sentenced for selling a program to steal cryptocurrencies.
