
Chairman of the State Duma Committee on the Financial Market, Anatoly Aksakov, said that a ruble-based cryptocurrency could appear in Russia, writes the Moscow City News Agency
According to Aksakov, the Central Bank of the Russian Federation may be involved in issuing a steyblecoin.
“Conventionally, a certain amount of money is deposited in a bank for a deposit, and the bank, on the security of this amount of money, releases the appropriate amount of crypto-tools. This is a currency issued by the Central Bank because it relies on fiat money. The ratio of this currency to the ruble will be one to one, ”said Anatoly Aksakov.
He added that the use of "crypto tools provided by the blockchain technology."
We note, earlier, Anatoly Aksakov said that Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies have a “sad” future.
