    Chinese telecommunications and electronics giant Huawei has announced its entry into the cloud business services market, including blockchain services .

    The announcement was made at the cloud technology summit in Hong Kong, where Huawei also announced its intention to invest heavily in this autonomous territory to make it the engine of innovation for all of China. The summit was attended by more than 1,000 companies and entrepreneurs from Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau.

    The Huawei platform offer includes :

    • Huawei's artificial intelligence solution, including text recognition and language understanding;
    • Decentralized blockchain services with all the advantages of DLT, designed for the development of China as a global financial center;
    • Ready solution for integration with IoT, including more than 1000 objects already modeled for this solution;
    • The presence of more than 40 companies capable of offering 250 ready-made solutions.

    Huawei claims that its solutions are the most optimal in terms of price and quality, suitable for companies in both the private and public sectors. The image recognition service, including face recognition, is already being actively implemented by the Shenzhen police and Kingmed Diagnostic in the medical sector.

    The development of new cloud solutions will be focused on the territory of Hong Kong, which will become the main center for developing AI for companies in the Far East. Huawei has very ambitious programs, which, however, will face tough competition from three major global companies offering combined cloud and blockchain services, Amazon, Microsoft and Google.

    However, Huawei does not lack resources and can count on the direct support of the Chinese government, which will be very important for the distribution of the system in the People’s Republic.
