Hard fork Instanbul in the Ethereum network moved to the beginning of October

In Istanbul hard fork activation will take place early next month. This was reported by Hudson Jameson, representative of the Ethereum Foundation.
Ethereum developers agreed that a hard fork will be held in early October. Jameson explains that the block responsible for activating Instanbul is expected to be mined on October 2, but this event may happen one or two days earlier or later, depending on the speed of block formation on the network. Earlier this hard fork in the ETH test network was scheduled for September 4th.
At the end of August, Parity representatives reported that they were not ready to update the Ropsten network. This partly affected the dates of the upgrade in Istanbul. So, the timely main network update, which was expected to be completed in early November, is now under threat. It is assumed that now it can happen after the Devcon conference.
