Growing popularity of cryptocurrency sites: Google Trends, Alexa and Similarweb statistics

According to Alexa's global ranking platform, the number of views on Bitcoin related sites is increasing. Over the past 90 days, popular cryptocurrency sites have had significantly more visitors.

Currently, Alexa is evaluating the Binance cryptobirth site at 911th place in the world, which is 233 places higher than three months ago.

The leading Binance cryptocurrency exchange receives most of its traffic from the United States, where it ranks 747th among the sites. The United States accounts for 21.7% of the total number of visitors, followed by India – 7.2%, Japan – 6.6%, Germany – 3.7% and Turkey – 3.3%.

Coinbase, a major US cryptocurrency exchange, has risen by 288 positions and has become the 1236th largest website in the world, 55.6% of which is in the United States.

Despite the significant difference in visitors between Binance and Coinbase, according to Similarweb, both sites showed more than 900,000 visitors per day. In April, this figure at Binance increased by 13% to 1,183,000 people, Coinbase traffic increased by 27% to 930,000 visitors.

Binance CEO Wei Zhou noted that this year the growing interest in cryptocurrency increased the company's OTC trading volume and in the first quarter contributed to a significant increase in revenue, which grew by 66% to $ 78 million.
