ConsenSys recently published a message in its blog that compared the relative popularity of various search queries in Google trends, comparing them with bitcoin search data.
It turns out that currently the search for word Bitcoin is ahead of the search according to Tesla, Donald Trump and Kim Kardashian. Ethereum look for a little less.
The ConsenSys team analyzed the mention of Bitcoin primarily in the top news. Here is the result of comparing these major mentions:
Although most recently Tesla has overtaken Bitcoin, Trump and Kim are still below. The team also compared Ethereum and Climate Change, the results were noticeably different:
To be fair, we must say that global climate change is currently affecting more people than Ethereum.
Despite the fact that such studies can be carried out as long as you like, it is generally pleasant to see that bitcoin awareness seems to be increasing, and more interesting to many people than frivolous celebrities or dubious political leaders.
