German blockchain startup Bitwala releases application for iOS and Android

Bitwala banking blockchain startup announced the launch of its own application for operations with Bitcoin, the application will be available for holders of iOS and Android gadgets.

According to data from Bitwala, now customers of the company from more than 30 countries will be able to become the owner of a German bank account, gain access to the storage, sale and purchase of Bitcoin. Bitwala provides its users with a unique platform, which includes the functionality of a traditional bank account and Bitcoin wallet. Bitwala collaborates with the German banking institution SolarisBank, its representatives helped the company obtain permission to operate from the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin).

Developers have reduced the time of registration of new users to a minimum, now registration and verification can be done directly in the application. Users will have access to the phytane balance as well as the BTC balance within an hour after the KYC and AML procedures have been completed. Such large companies as Global Brain, Sony Financial Ventures, NKB Group, High Tech Gründerfonds, ALSTIN invested in the Bitwala project.
