Users of the blockchain-smartphone Finney from Sirin Labs will be able to buy cryptocurrency with a credit card. This was made possible through partnership with Simplex processing, RBC reports citing representatives of the project.

At the same time, in the wallet built into Finney, the functionality of reading QR codes was improved and new languages were added: Turkish, Vietnamese, Hindi, Tagalog, Italian, Romanian, Slovenian and German.

To use the new wallet features, users need to update the Finney Wallet app via Google Play.

It is necessary to add that Simplex service charges extremely high fees for processing transactions with Bitcoin – up to 10%.

Recall that in 2017, Sirin Labs raised $ 157 million during the ICO for the development of the Finney blockchain smartphone.

In April 2019, the company laid off 15 of 60 employees, citing unfavorable market conditions and low user interest in their device. It is noteworthy that the company had previously abandoned work on hardware solutions in favor of software.
