On the eve it became known that the Facebook administration registered a new FINTECH company Libra Networks LLC in Switzerland.

Libra Networks, which is owned by Facebook Global Holdings II LLC, was registered in the Swiss capital on May 2. The official documents say that the new company will specialize in providing services related to finance and technology, in particular, they talked about blockchain technology, as well as developing infrastructure and investment activities, analyzing data, processing payments and working towards data".

Olaf Carlson-V, who is the CEO of Polychain Capital venture fund, said at a recent crypto conference at Consensus that, in his opinion, the potential steakblokoin from Facebook is likely to be launched in an open blockchain system, such as Bitcoin cryptocurrency. He believes that this step is the most expected from Facebook, given all the problems that the social network has to face now.

Recall that earlier information appeared on the Internet that Facebook is developing the Libra project, a payment system that will probably cooperate with Mastercard, Visa, and also use its own steylcoin.
