Aya Miyaguchi, executive director of the Ethereum Foundation (EF), said that over the next 12 months, the company is ready to spend $ 30 million on the development of the ecosystem.

During his speech at the Ethereal summit, Miyaguchi said that over the next year, EF will finance the development of various projects. In general, we can say that the main task is to improve the performance and safety of Ethereum. The team plans to work on the current algorithm of the project – Proof-of-Work (PoW), promote altcoin through the organization of hackathons, cooperation with other projects, and EF continues to look for talented specialists.

It should be noted that EF intends to draw attention to the possibility of cooperation with Ethereum with researchers. The company is likely to provide grants to the most promising research teams and organizations. In addition, EF will make small investments in promising projects. For example, Miyaguchi has already mentioned that EF has decided to support MolochDAO, a project that is behind the development of a decentralized platform that will specialize in raising funds for Ethereum ecosystem projects.

Miyaguchi also announced that the next Ethereum Devcon conference will be held in Osaka (Japan) from October 8 to 11.
