On Sunday, April 7, the Peacemaker Center (a site positioning itself as an “Internet site for the Center for the Study of Crimes against the Fundamentals of Ukraine’s National Security, Peace, Citizens' Security”) published an appeal to the National Security Council, the Security Service of Ukraine and the Verkhovna Rada, which states that Ukrainian presidential candidate Vladimir Zelensky received funds to finance the election campaign from the Russian special services and Dmitry Khavchenko, who is currently not working as a WEX exchange (callsign “Moryachok”), related to the election campaign.

"In the course of its activities related to the monitoring of communication channels of representatives of Russian special services and terrorist organizations, on February 25, 2019, the Peacemaker Center received information that the special services of the Russian aggressor and the terrorist organizations created by him are directly involved in financing the election campaign of a presidential candidate Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky " , – said in a statement.

The Peacemaker also notes that Andrei Y. Pinchuk, an officer of the Russian special services, instructed "the actual owner of the WEX cryptobirth and the militant of the illegal formations Dmitry Vasilievich Khavchenko from time to time to transfer significant amounts of money from the cryptocurrency"

The portal requires the authorities to make “urgent decisions” in this regard.

Earlier in a conversation with TSN, Vladimir Zelensky disclosed the amount of money spent on the election campaign:

“Our campaign today costs 70 million hryvnia [approximately $ 2.6 million]. This is my money, the money of my companions, the founders of “Studio Quarter 95” and the money of friends. ”

Recall WEX Exchange does not work since last fall, with serious problems on the trading floor began in July last year.

In December, it became known that the ex-militant "DPR" Dmitry Khavchenko ("Sailor") recorded the WEX exchange on his daughter, and that he intends to restart the exchange and return the lost assets to the users.
