The Russian retail network Dixy, in conjunction with the OSA HP Hybrid Platform, launches the BigData platform, controlled by artificial intelligence using blockchain technology. This was reported to BlockchainJournal by retailer representatives.

With in-depth training and computer vision, the company plans to conduct data analysis that will ensure the availability of goods in real time, increase customer loyalty and increase sales figures.

“Optimization of business processes and supply chains will have a positive impact on operational efficiency, ” noted in Dixie.

Thanks to the project, the company plans to achieve a growth in turnover of at least 2%.

“This is a very convenient tool that significantly saves time and allows you to maintain shelves with all product lines in perfect condition, ” said project manager, director of strategic marketing at Dixie GC Vadim Makarenko.

More than 200 Moscow Dixy stores took part in the pilot testing of the OSA service. In the future, we consider the possibility of scaling the project to all 2,550 stores of the network.

Note that by the end of 2018, the net profit of Dixie Group of Companies amounted to 942 million rubles. Growth in comparable sales was 4.6%, due to an increase in traffic and an average check.

Earlier, BlockchainJournal reported that a blockchain-coffee house with artificial intelligence from Microsoft will open in St. Petersburg in April.
