The creator of the popular Telegram messenger, Pavel Durov, can use the site of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, and present his digital currency Gram to experts and businessmen. This was reported by some media, citing the opinion of representatives of the crypto community.
The presentation of the TON blockchain project and the Gram coin can take place precisely in Davos, since this forum brings together not only representatives of major investors, but also heads of IT companies who are betting on the development of blockchain technologies .
Pavel Durov previously visited the Davos forum, but he never participated in the presentation of any projects. Back in the late autumn of last year, the TON Gram platform for transactions with coins was developed by 70% .
It is possible that at the beginning of this year, the development team completed the creation of this network, since, according to anonymous sources, some investors already have the opportunity to perform operations with cryptocurrency in test mode.
The official launch of the TON platform is scheduled for the second half of this year. Earlier it was reported that Pavel Durov planned to present his crypto project before the end of 2018, but for some reason postponed its launch to 2019.
The creator of the Telegram messenger on his channel on this social network on January 17 wrote that 2019 would be for his team a new stage in its development. Such options will be integrated into Telegram that will make this messenger more popular among Internet users.
Earlier it was also reported that the TON blockchain platform will be endowed with the function of storing personal information about users. The service was named Telegram Passport.
