At the end of March, the Swissquote group engaged in online banking and trading launches a custodial service for secure storage of cryptocurrencies . As stated in the announcement published by a Swiss company, from March 21, retail and institutional customers will be able to transfer cryptocurrency from external wallets to Swissquote accounts for storage.

The new service will be provided jointly with Zug company Crypto Storage AG, a subsidiary of Crypto Finance AG. As stated on the site, Crypto Storage AG offers proprietary solutions for managing cryptocurrency private keys using the highest level hardware security models (HSM).

“Our HSMs are exactly the same as those used by the Swiss National Bank, they exclude the participation of a third party or any loopholes, ” said the head of Crypto Storage, Stijn Vander Straeten.

Our server cabinets are located in a former military bunker in the Swiss Alps, protected from a nuclear explosion. Yes, we care about safety. ”

Swissquote already offers customers kriptovalyutnye trading services running in the July 2017 trade Bitcoins together with Bitstamp. Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC) and XRP were added later.

"In November 2017, the company launched trading in Bitcoin certificates, which move investor funds between Bitcoin and the US dollar using a machine learning algorithm to protect against the volatility of cryptocurrencies."

Early last year, Swissquote released multi-cryptocurrency certificates on the SIX exchange.

As we have already written , Facebook develops its own cryptocurrency in deep secret. However, the lack of information did not prevent analysts and experts in the comments from calling Zuckerberg's mysterious coin a substitute for Bitcoin and the main rival for the cryptocurrency TON (Telegram Open Network). Analytical service Weiss Ratings criticized this point of view and noted the three main mistakes made by experts.
