The cryptocurrency market grew like crazy today. The total capitalization of all digital assets in circulation for the first time since November 2018 has jumped to $ 160 billion. And the average daily trading volume rose to 44 billion dollars, which is the highest level since January 2018.
Was it a sleeping whale with a large purchase order? Or some kind of insider trading? Or maybe just a bunch of assumptions? The answers to these questions remain to be seen.

- Bitcoin (BTC) grew by almost 23% within an hour and reached an area above $ 5,000. At the time of writing, BTC / USD is trading at $ 4,750, which is still 14% higher than the levels registered at the beginning of the day.
- Ethereum (ETH) reached $ 155.96 and recovered to $ 150 at the time of this writing. Since the beginning of the day, the value of the coin has increased by 6%.
- Ripple (XRP) rose to $ 0.3450, after which it retreated to 0.33 amid a technical correction from overbought territory.
Other altcoins showed a similar increase from 5% to 13%.
