According to an official press release, Coinbase, a major cryptocurrency exchange, now supports Steablcoin Dai (DAI).

Coinbase representatives report that DAI can be bought, sold, shipped, received, converted and stored in most jurisdictions where Coinbase provides its services, with the exception of New York.

DAI is an ERC-20 standard token developed on MakerDAO, an Ethereum-based smart contract platform whose goal is to support stability in a decentralized world, in particular, cryptocurrency. MakerDAO platform aims to stabilize the price of DAI at $ 1.

Recall that recently it became known that the new Coinbase tool – Coinbase Commerce – now supports steadlokoin USDC. Thus, users were able to accept payments in USDC, while the transaction fee is not expected. It is possible to receive funds in USDC in any and from any country in the world; users do not need to open a traditional bank account to store crypto funds.

Service Coinbase Commerce was launched by an American company last year. It is a platform through which merchants can accept payment for goods and services in various digital currencies. Many e-commerce platforms allow you to add Coinbase Commerce to the list of payment methods.
