Craig Wright: either I'm Satoshi, or he coordinated me – choose

Craig Wright once again promised to provide evidence that he is the creator of Bitcoin Satoshi Nakamoto, but mentioned the latter in the third person.

The incident happened during the London conference CC London Investment in Blockchain and AI Forum 2019, reports Cointelegraph .

“Either I am Satoshi, or he coordinated me. Choose. It doesn’t bother me much, since he stole entire paragraphs from one of my works. Therefore, it’s either me or … I don’t care whether you like it or not, ” he concluded.

Wright had in mind the scientific work that he allegedly wrote in 2008, but the community has no evidence of its existence. According to him, the white paper of bitcoin contains parts of it.

Moreover, his statements have repeatedly turned out to be partial or complete lies. Doubts about his honesty appeared even before the creation of bitcoin – in one of the court cases of 2005.

(2/13) In a 2005 case, in an Australian court ruling against Mr Wright, the judge mentioned that there were “doubts about his credibility”, due to contradictory evidence

In 2015, he made changes to entries on his blog from 2008, adding a section about cryptocurrencies, although this text is missing from the 2014 snapshot from the web archive.

(3/13) Mr Wright appears to have edited his blog dated 2008, in 2015, to make it look like he was writing a cryptocurrency paper at the time, while a 2014 snapshot of the blog does not include this cryptocurrency comment

In the sensational case of Kleiman v. Wright, in which the court ordered him to pay 500,000 BTC, the scientist repeatedly faked evidence.

Swearing, technical nonsense and tears: how Craig Wright spoke about the shame for bitcoin and the willingness to give 1 million BTC

(13/13) And finally. The 2019 court ruling in the case between the estate of David Kleiman and Mr Craig Wright concluded that Mr Wright "willfully created fraudulent documents" and acted in "bad faith"

The entrepreneur also attributed to himself a degree from the Australian University of Charles Stewart, which he was never given out, and he coordinated some academic work.

(8/13) A recent article by Sam Williams indicates that Mr Wright plagiarized some academic papers, copying large chunks of text from other papers

The supplier of supercomputers C01N denies any connection with the scientist, although Wright claimed to own such a device.

(10/13) Mr Wright appears to have claimed to have had one of the world's fastest supercomputers called “C01N”, however according to a @ZDNet article the supplier he mentioned denied having any relationship with Mr Wright
