Coinbase licensed to provide services in Ireland ahead of Brexit

The Central Bank of Ireland granted Coinbase a license for e-money transactions.

According to CEO of the British division Zeeshan Feroz (Zeeshan Feroz), the expansion is necessary in order to provide services to residents of the EU and Eurozone countries after Brexit .

The company opened an office in Dublin in October 2018.

Recall that the British license Coinbase received in March last year.
