Leading US cryptocurrency exchanges Coinbase and Kraken announced support for Ethereum's (ETH) Constantinople Hard Fork.
Coinbase representatives made a statement:
Coinbase intends to fully support the update to Constantinople Ethereum (ETH). After the start of the update, for security and technical purposes, we will temporarily suspend the sending and receiving of ETH on all our trading platforms until the update is completed and we confirm the security of the network.
The upcoming Ethereum update will also be supported by major exchanges such as Binance, Huobi and OKEx.
The ETH / USD pair for the last 24 hours showed the largest increase among the top cryptocurrencies, increasing by 8.7%. The upcoming update marks a complete transformation of the Ethereum network and a number of technical improvements. What happens in the end, time will tell!
