By the beginning of Christmas, the well-known cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase has added 4 new tokens to its Coinbase Pro platform, namely:
- Dai (DAI),
- Maker (MKR),
- Golem (GNT),
- Zilliqa (ZIL).
The exchange stated that the functionality of the smart contracts of these tokens would not be initially available:
Each of these tokens has associated functionality, some of which may be in beta. Moreover, the related functionality of each token is currently not directly accessible through the Coinbase Pro platform.
The news about the addition of ERC20 tokens did not come as a surprise to many investors and traders who knew that the exchange announced its plan to support the technical standard Ethereum ERC20 on the platform in March of this year.
It is worth noting that Coinbase is reviewing a list of the 31st digital asset for further adding them to the exchange platform. At the same time, only 6 assets are not ERC20 tokens – these are XRP, ADA, EOS, NEO, XLM and XTZ.
Experienced crypto traders have probably already begun using the elimination method to find out which of the remaining ERC20 tokens will be next added to the exchange platform, thus providing profitable trading opportunities. It is not yet known when the popular XRP, XLM and ADA tokens will be added.
And what do you think about this?
