The Center for the Development of the Information Technology Industry (CCID) at the Ministry of Industry and Information of China on Tuesday presented an updated version of its rating of cryptocurrency projects . This is the second release this year, it includes 35 projects, and Tron has become its only new participant, Bitcoin.com writes.

In the anniversary ranking, experts analyzed 35 virtual currencies using the traditional CCID assessment in three categories: "Basic technologies", "Applications" and "Innovations".

    • In the “Innovations” category, bitcoin takes the first place.
    • In "Applications" Ethereum leads.
    • In the "Basic Technologies" in the first place the leader of the overall standings – EOS .

Tron debuted immediately in second place, moving Ethereum to third. Bitcoin is on the thirteenth position, rising by two compared with the previous month.

The authors describe Tron as a “public chain with high levels of bandwidth, distribution and reliability”, surpassing Ethereum in blockchain activity and having over 200 decentralized applications. Tron received 96.8 points for manufacturability, 24.6 for practical applications and 24.1 for ideological potential.

As the authors of the report explained, they continue to use three indicators when evaluating blockchain projects, however, in the latest version of the rating, the “ideological potential” article had more weight for determining the total number of points. The biggest improvements compared with the previous month were demonstrated by Nano, Verge and Qtum .
