China has published a new rating of cryptocurrency with comments to the changes

The Center for the Development of the Information Technology Industry of China (CIID), which is part of the Ministry of Information of the country, announced the release of an updated version of its rating of cryptocurrency projects earlier this week.

The first publication of the department on this topic was published in May 2018. The number of reviewed cryptocurrency has not changed and amounted to 33. Bitcoin.com writes about this.

EOS continues to lead the list, followed by Ethereum , Bitshares , Nebulas and NEO . Bitcoin, which ranked from 10 to 16 in recent months, has now shifted to 19th position. NEM continues to close the list.

The study was prepared and implemented by the Center for the Development of the Information Technology Industry in cooperation with a number of organizations, including the CIID Research Center, the Institute for the Development of Electronics and Information Technology and the Software Testing Center.

“The purpose of this study is to provide a scientific assessment of the level of development of global public chains and a precise definition of the trend.”

EOS and Ethereum occupy a leading position in the ranking of Chinese experts since June of this year. CCID notes that when it made its first rating, the main EOS network was not yet launched, so it did not take the project into account.

“EOS and Ethereum are firmly established in the first two positions on the list,” they write.

“Currently, EOS and Ethereum are the undisputed leaders in the development of platforms for decentralized applications around the world, and EOS also shows a more confident development. The data suggests that decentralized EOS applications are highly active and have a large number of users. ”

The same blockchains as last month fell into the category leaders of the base technology category:

“The top 5 base technology index for this period consists of EOS, Bitshares, Steem, Ethereum and Gxchain. Their composition has not changed since last month. ”

In the context of practical relevance, analysts "improved the methods for evaluating developers' tools and fully studied the API, SDK, RPC, smart contracts, and other factors." Ethereum, Neo, Nebulas, Qtum and Dash were the top five projects in this category.

Bitcoin, Ethereum, EOS, Nuls and Cardano were awarded top marks for “technical thought”.

“With respect to the previous rating, the most noticeable improvements in this category are observed in Ripple , Nuls, Iota , Nebulas and Bitcoin Cash ,” explains CCID.
