The Cardano (ADA) coin, which took the 10th place in the cryptocurrency rating with a market capitalization of $ 2.159 billion, has just completed the upgrade. The update, dubbed “Shelly,” will allow the network to move towards full decentralization.
Cardano price in relation to the US dollar hovers around 0.083 dollars. Cardano began as a blockchain project under the leadership of the founder Hoskinson, who is also a co-founder of Ethereum. ADA was released on September 29, 2017.

The IOHK Summit takes place within 2 days in Miami, Florida, from April 17 to 18. Earlier, Hoskinson made an opening speech and unveiled a new Cardano roadmap for 2020, as well as an update on Shelley, which is the phase of decentralization.
It is worth noting that many stages of the development of Cardano are named after famous poets and writers. This current software release is named after Percy Bysshe Shelley, poet and author of Ozymandias. In the future, there will also be an update called “Bass”, named after Matsuo Basho, a Japanese poet from the 1600s and 1700s.
On the technical side, Cardano uses a new algorithm called Ouroboros, which determines how individual nodes reach consensus about the network.
