It's been inspiring seeing our community come together in support of Ukraine – almost $1m in ETH has been donated to @Ukraine by wallets containing a BAYC ecosystem NFT. Today we're matching that with a $1m ETH donation of our own. ?♥️??

According to a report by Blockchainjournal on February 28, Ukaraine had already reached more than $14.2 million in digital asset donations till that day. This included a single donation worth $1.86 million that was supposedly originated from the sale of NFTs originally intended to raise funds for Julian Assange.
In the latest development, one of the most recognized NFT collections in existence, The Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), announced a donation of $1 Million in Ethereum (ETH) in support of the Ukrainian humanitarian crisis. According to their official twitter account, BAYC posted an Etherscan transaction link, which showed it sent ETH 388.999, inspired by contributions from its community members which, on its own, appears to have crossed the $1 million mark.
The donation comes following almost an equal amount coming from crypto wallets that also contained a Bored Ape NFT. The iconic NFT collection tweeted,
“It’s been inspiring seeing our community come together in support of Ukraine – almost $1m in ETH has been donated to Ukraine by wallets containing a BAYC ecosystem NFT. Today we’re matching that with a $1m ETH donation of our own.”
Crypto Donations Rain Down

Recently, a CryptoPunk NFT worth approximately $200,000 has also been sent to the Ukrainian government’s Ethereum account.
