Officials promise that the project will be launched before the end of spring, but its development has not yet begun.

Moscow authorities will launch a blockchain platform for entrepreneurs who are developing innovative products by the end of May. TASS was told about this by the head of the Department for Innovative Development of the Moscow Government, Alexey Fursin.

The platform based on a distributed registry will allow entrepreneurs to register in the program of support for innovative companies, find partners among state-owned companies and departments, as well as receive grants from the government of Moscow.

At the same time the development of the platform has not yet begun, said Fusin. Now the department determines the budget for the project and in the near future will announce a tender for the selection of a contractor. This will happen as soon as the officials form the technical task, he added.

Blockchain platform will be integrated into the iMoscow project. Other details about it are not disclosed.

The Moscow government is not the only government agency that is interested in the blockchain. Earlier, the head of the Rosobrnadzor, Sergey Kravtsov, announced that the department intends to introduce a distributed registry into the processing of the Unified State Exam (USE) results. The first exam with the use of technology will be held in 2019, he noted.
