The discount applies to all pairs of “crypto-crypto”, as well as “cryptocurrency-steyblecoin”. New rules come into force today, May 28th. According to representatives of the exchange, this is the “first wave of bonuses” for LEO holders.

In order to take advantage of reduced trade commissions, users must have at least 1 LEO coin for 30 days (starting May 20). The discount is calculated every 12 hours and applies to all commission fees on Bitfinex and Ethfinex platforms.

Also, according to representatives of the exchange, in the next few weeks additional bonuses will be announced for LEO holders, who will deal with marginal lending, deposit and withdrawal of funds, as well as derivatives . The launch date of the latter is not specified, but the blog says that the company is actively working to develop "the infrastructure necessary for the growth of the industry."

In the meantime, the LEO coin is trading at a much higher price than a tokensil – at $ 1.45:

Recall, on May 17, Bitfinex confirmed the successful sale of LEO tokens to a limited number of investors at a price of $ 1, during which the company raised $ 1 billion.
