Work will begin at 11:30 Moscow time and will last 2-3 hours. During this time, the Bitfinex and Ethfinex trading floors will operate in limited functionality mode.
Representatives of the exchange stressed that user funds will be safe. In addition, all open trading orders will be saved, and margin traders will not liquidate positions during the work. Nevertheless, after the completion of maintenance, the positions can still be liquidated if a strong change in prices occurs.
Recall, the Ethfinex hybrid exchange is currently in the process of rebranding . An updated trading platform called DeversiFi intends to significantly expand its customer base through low commissions and regulated products. In addition, the platform will no longer use the operating resources of Bitfinex.
