Bitcoin holds seven-day climb above $123,000 on Q4 optimism as ETF hopes

Bitcoin rose past $123,000 and held a seven day climb as traders grew optimistic for Q4. Data show the move matters because fresh institutional money may enter plus the price shift touches traders, asset managers and exchanges. Elevated turnover underscores the momentum while participants watch if the trend can sustain.

The token changed hands near $123,874 and tested the $123,348 barrier. The same file lists $121,794.39 at 11:37 a.m. EDT on 3 Oct 2025 and a 24-hour volume of $30.54 billion, figures that point to deep liquidity during the climb.

The advance rests on inflows from institutions, upbeat mood and the chance that regulators will clear a spot Bitcoin ETF. The mix shoved the sentiment gauge into “Greed,” a zone that usually lifts risk appetite among managers and traders, while that volatility stays high and a regulatory or macro shock can erase gains.

A spot ETF holds the coin itself and gives investors price exposure without custody of private keys.

Price action and drivers in the Bitcoin market

The expectation of a spot ETF may broaden access for large managers and banks, increasing demand and the volume of capital inflows. The increase in 24-hour volume to $30.54 billion shows greater participation, which reduces spreads but also facilitates sharp movements if rapid outflows occur.

Previous cycles of Bitcoin rises and falls; intense bullish sentiment raises the probability of technical pullbacks when resistance is reached. Today, Bitcoin rose past $123,000 and held a seven day climb as traders grew optimistic for Q4.

If the $123,348 level is exceeded and the price consolidates above it, the market may seek an all-time high; if it fails, profit-taking may occur.

The next focus as the price action around $123,348 and any headline on a spot ETF, cues that will decide whether the Q4 rally locks in a fresh uptrend or gives way to a pullback.
